Continue filing 25 cases; don't back down: Gandhi Rahul in Assam

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi challenged Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma to file "as many cases as he wants" on Wednesday, stating that he will not be scared, just one day after Assam Police filed a complaint against him for allegedly inciting the mob.

"I'm not sure where Himanta got the notion that he could frighten Rahul Gandhi. You can bring as many cases against me as you like; I won't be scared. Neither the BJP nor the RSS frighten me. File 25 more cases against me if you have already submitted 25. At a public gathering in Barpeta as part of his ongoing Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, the Congress leader remarked, "Be happy."

In response to the current police complaint filed in Guwahati on January 23, Rahul Gandhi stated, "I previously delivered a speech criticizing Gautam Adani." He is PM Modi's special pal. I was the target of a case that excluded me from the Parliament and stole my house.

"It was their house when they came to grab the keys, and I don't want it. Every Indian has me in their hearts. I own thousands of houses in Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, and Assam," he continued.

Himanta Biswa Sarma, the chief minister of Assam, declared on Saturday that Rahul Gandhi and other Congressmen had been charged under several sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act. Provocation, wanton acts of violence, destruction of public property, and assault on police officers were among the allegations.

According to Sarma, Rahul Gandhi tried to reach Guwahati with about 2000 cars and 3000 people, which resulted in fighting between Congressmen and police in the Khanapara area. The chief minister of Assam accused the Congress politician of inciting violence and carrying out violent deeds.
